Fura

A groundbreaking sustainable cocktail bar revolutionizing Singapore's drinking scene with eco-conscious practices

Fura

Fura is a sustainability-led bar and dining concept on Amoy Street, opened in October 2023 by Christina Rasmussen and Sasha Wijidessa after their Mallow residency. The venue describes its focus as the future of food, using ingredients that are abundant, invasive, locally grown or lower in carbon footprint. Its menu includes cocktails built around future-food ideas such as mealworms, jellyfish, corn, cultured quail and coffee-free coffee, alongside small plates and non-alcoholic ferments. The official site lists a 12-seat bar counter tasting menu with cocktail pairing from Tuesdays to Thursdays, plus an a la carte food and drinks format. Fura’s team page notes Rasmussen’s background as Head Forager for Noma before moving to Singapore.
