Lighthouse Climbing is an independent bouldering gym in Pasir Panjang that opened in August 2020 and presents itself as Singapore's first crowdfunded climbing gym. It offers bouldering, Kilter Board, Tension Board, MoonBoard, spray wall, youth programmes and events. The gym is known among local climbers for its dedicated bouldering identity, contemporary holds and deliberate routesetting. Its posted reset schedule notes wall closures on Mondays and Thursdays during route resets, which is useful for regulars planning sessions.
Lighthouse has one of the clearest identities in the local scene: community-first, bouldering-focused and serious about training boards. It suits climbers who enjoy problem solving, structured board work and events that feel connected to the climbing community rather than just casual recreation. The routes can be engaging and technical, with enough variety for return visits. The trade-off is location, as Pasir Panjang is not as convenient for everyone as Bugis, Kallang or town-area gyms.
