NUS states that its Housing Services accommodates more than 11,000 student residents, with residential colleges offering a compulsory meal plan, compulsory academic programmes or courses for most students, hostel activities, and single or double room options depending on the college. The current residential college options listed by NUS include the College of Alice and Peter Tan, Residential College 4, Ridge View Residential College, Tembusu College and Acacia College. Each college has its own academic or community emphasis, such as active citizenship at CAPT, systems thinking at RC4, a nature-based campus setting at RVRC, daily-life learning at Tembusu, and AI-related social, cultural and ethical themes at Acacia.
